DILEMA

V posledných týždňoch je Nina fascinovaná psami. Akýmikoľvek. Tak som si sadla a urobila som pre ňu tohto:

My daughter is fascinated by dogs during last weeks. By any kind of dogs. So I created this one for her.

Nie je ešte úplne hotový, ale aj tak som jej ho chcela ukázať a netrpezlivo som sa tešila na nadšenú reakciu. A dieťa, keď ho uvidelo, namiesto obvyklého "havo", začalo vydávať veselé zvuky ako keď cvála kôň. Tak teraz neviem... ;) 

 

It isn't ready yet, but still I wanted to show her, waiting impatiently for her enthusiastic reaction. But first time she saw it, instead of usual "puppy" word, she started to vocalizing a running horse. Well, I'm not sure now... ;)

Týždeň tretí. A popoludňajšie výhľady z okna otočeného na juhozápad. Vtedy do izby dopadá najkrajšie svetlo a dieťa žmúri a schováva sa za závesy.

Week three. And our afternoon views from the window which is turned southwest. The light is most beautiful at that time and the baby is winking her eyes and trying to hide behind the curtains.

PROJECT 52

Pred rokom som sa v duchu tešila, ako budem o 12 mesiacov svojej dcére ukazovať sneh a ona to už bude vnímať, spadne doň a rozosmeje sa. Ako ho bude v studených rukách roztápať, dávať si ho do úsť, vyplazovať jazyk, keď budú padať snehové vločky (kto to nerobil?!). Ako postavíme snehuliaka, spustíme sa na saniach alebo si spravíme na záhrade prvú guľovačku. A zatiaľ NIČ. Len plusové teploty na teplomeri. Tak chodíme na prechádzky a za plotmi pozorujeme psov. Alebo hádžeme kamienky do vody, ktorá stále nie a nie zamrznúť. A čakáme na "prvý" sneh...

A year ago I was looking forward to the next winter to show the snow to my daughter because she already will be able to take notice of it. I was imagined her to fall in the snow and laugh, how it will melt in her cold little hands, how she will put it in her mouth or shoot out her tongue, when the snowflakes will falling (who didn't do that?!) I was dreaming about our first snowman, sleigh ride or snow fight in the garden. And nothing of all this happen yet. Just the plus degrees on the thermometer. So everyday we walk down the streets and watch all dogs behind the fences. Or fling the pebbles to the water which is still not frozen. And waiting for our "first" snow...

PROJECT 52

Už dlhší čas som mala pocit. Alebo skôr potrebu. Začalo to niekde vnútri. 

Bol to taký nenápadný, tichý, nie príliš často sa ozývajúci hlas. Že by bolo dobre opäť začať trochu písať. A fotiť. A ukázať to. A spojiť to dohromady. A potom som objavila Project 52 veľmi talentovanej americkej fotografky James K. McCoy. Vnútorný hlas sa zintenzívnil. A potom prišla Katta, že ide do toho tiež. A že ju v tom nemám nechať samu :) To bol už naozaj motivačný impulz. A veľká výzva! Každý týždeň by teda mala pribudnúť jedna fotografia a tu je prvá. V hlavnej úlohe moja dcéra Nina. 

Držím si palce!

I had a feeling. Well, better to say - it was a necessity. It has started somewhere inside me. At the beginning it was retiring and quiet voice, which haven't echoed very often. That it would be good to start to write a bit again. And take more pictures. And show it. And put it all together. Then I found the Project 52 of a very talented american photograph James K. McCoy. My inner voice became louder. And then Katta decided to start her own Project 52. And she wrote to me that I shouldn't leave her in it alone :) It was a real motivation. And a big challenge! Every week a new picture will come and this is the first one. My daughter Nina is starring.

So, fingers cross!
